Destination Health organizes a Mission of Italian Hospitals to develop business in United Arab Emirates

Destination Health is organizing a unique business mission, reserved to Italian hospitals, to bring the Italian medical excellence in the United Arab Emirates.
The aim of the mission is to start promoting and positioning Italy as a Medical Tourism destination and to increase the number of incoming patients from that region.

The Mission is organized in two parts:
· attendance at the Medical Tourism Summit within ITW- International Travel Week Fair in Abu Dhabi
· dedicated meeting with Ministries of Health and Government Officials to introduce Italy and its hospitals as a destination of medical excellence

ITW – International Travel Week – is one of the most important Tourism Summits of the Gulf States and can count on the participation of the highest number of Medical Tourism buyers in the world. Taking place from 25-28 November 2017, it attracts exhibitors, visitors and buyers from the 57 countries of OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation).
Destination Health, which is the sole promoter for Italy, is organizing an Italian pavillon to host all participating hospitals and start positioning Italy as a Medical Tourism Destination.

Following the Fair, participating hospitals will have dedicated meetings with Health Authority Abu Dhabi and Dubai Health Authority, the Ministries of Health managing patients sent abroad, and with the decision makers of Dubai Healthcare City, the tax free area which Dubai is developing to attract hospitals and medical research centres and learn about the opportunities.

This will be a unique chance to get directly in touch with the Abu Dhabi and Dubai’s Ministries of Health and to understand the procedures to be accredited by the governments and benefit from their patients outflow.
